Therapeutic endoscopy expands rapidly with new tools, techniques and credentialing pathways. The session covers third-space endoscopy (peroral endoscopic myotomy POEM for achalasia, gastric POEM for gastroparesis, Zenker's POEM), endoscopic mucosal resection and submucosal dissection (EMR, ESD) for early GI cancer, hemostatic powders (Hemospray, EndoClot, PuraStat), robotic endoscopy platforms, tele-endoscopy and remote-assisted procedures, and the credentialing landscape for advanced procedures. Discussion addresses radiofrequency ablation in Barrett's esophagus, cryotherapy for esophageal neoplasia, anti-reflux endoscopy (TIF 2.0, Stretta), endoscopic bariatric procedures, and emerging closure devices for endoscopic perforation management.
